Chris has negotiated many contracts with multinational corporations on pertinent issues in the handling of hazardous and toxic wastes such as the regulatory limitations, treaty provisions, pollution, transboundary movements, treatment methods and costs. Chris is now actively involved in their business expansion plan into waste recovery and recycling as well as other services throughout the value chain.

Chris has keen interests in the media and entertainment industry; and has gathered a considerable amount of clients as a result of his in-depth understanding of the industry. Chris is a recognized music author that has been granted membership from MACP since 2003. His close relation with the media also made him a friendly target for comments on legal related current issues and a preferred moderator for forums and seminars from time to time. He is now guest hosting a morning prime time talk show at one of the leading Chinese Station in FM98.8 (Kuala Lumpur) in mandarin commenting on current issues.

For his interest in business and commerce, Chris is also the Principal Consultant to Trademal.com, the very first trade portal for “Sourcing Malaysia”, from the conceptualisation to its implementation (www.trademal.com). In the formative years of the firm, Chris has also been advising the aviation transport industry, handling related issues of merger and acquisition, cross-boundary investment, regulatory limitations etc.

Realizing the difficulties in procuring conventional financing as a young entrepreneur, Chris is motivated by the idea of non-convention financing – OPM (Other People’s Money) . With such determination and his pool of valuable contacts and resources, he founded NCF CHUR ASSOCIATES and formulated the idea of “your Money otherwise” (www.yourmoneyotherwise.com) as an online platform to facilitate business matching between wiling entrepreneurs and angel investors.
