It’s all written in the “script”, you work harder then you get it faster. But you will even it all out at the end – nothing more, nothing less!

Sounds de-motivating? Extremely for those who are aspired and yet to achieve; but there seems to be an air of belief for those who have been there and done that.   

This is even impossible for those students of Success 101 (an elaborated extension of Business for Dummies genre). How can it be in the “script”? I write the script. The aftermath of my recent patronage of both Brian Tracy and T. Harv Eker can certainly confirm that.

That was all until I met some important wise men in my life and after my sharing with them my Success 101 enlightenment. Their feedbacks are common in the line of the 1st quoted sentence of this journal entry. Students of Kiyosaki have been empowered to name these wise men as “Poor Dad”. That however would not lead me to take the words of these wise men lightly (I never will since they have each contributed enormously in what I am today); especially when I am a great admirer of the doctrine of “Randomness” by Nassim Taleb since a few months ago.   

I am sure something is connecting between all these and in a sharing over lunch with another aspiring younger entrepreneur subsequently; my enlightenment reached a deeper level.

There is no LUCK, the script is what we commonly called “FATE”.

Non-believers achieved Success faster in Level 1; but if the non-believe continues then FATE shall kick in to even it out. This is why you see a lot of one-hit wonders glorified the horizon like a shooting star landed only in obscurity and you will never hear about them again ever. These Stars and Wonders justified their success and holding on stubbornly to their justification that led to their eventual failure – the “even it out”!

That is why you need to understand “Randomness” in Level 2 to mitigate the effect of FATE. This is where we see the great “Come Back” acts that we often amaze and celebrate!

In Level 1, you talked about Reason and Result. The stronger the WHY, the easier the HOW; or when you don’t have the Result that you desired, you always have a Reason. It’s all good.

But no one is telling you that it is all a big circle; because what comes after Result is a Reason again in Level 2. Your justification for your success! That’s what all the interviewers and admirers are keen to ask you, after a while you have a story and that becomes your gospel truth in determining how you move forward. The risk is on this story; because you know no other way and you do not dare to try anything else. Most people are imprisoned in their initial success for the same Reason!
    
On Believer corner of the ring:

You don’t need sudden wealth (success), things does not change. So, get used to the wealth that you accumulated step by step and enjoy the process slowly but surely. You will have a story to tell when you are old. You will remember it better this way.

While on the Non-Believer corner of the ring:

If you decided that wealth (success) is essential, you might as well get it fast and move on to something else! PROVIDED that you know how to handle wealth and not be complacent!

It’s just like the Chinese calendar analogy to life that I always talked about. That’s the normal Green days and the auspicious special Red days; and everyone has a different sequence of Red and Green. You will make it if your Red days come soon enough and frequently, otherwise you will wait for your Red days to come. I always said that my way to get around it is to work hard enough to tear down the calendar day faster and more than once a day. It’s called “Clocked it up”. This way, my patch of Red shall come sooner that anyone else. This keep me motivated and keep me going.

… the problem is perhaps I just realised that we all have more or less the calendar of same thickness. What happened if it rum out? Well, there is now a suggestion that it will start all over again as part of the “script”. So, what’s the rush mate?

That’s why… thinking too much is hazardous in many ways!

Just put aside or complete what’s stopping you and you will be FREE.
