Can you TRY to read this?

Shame on you, you are not TRYING because you are actually reading this already.

The truth is that you did not even TRIED, you did it straight away without hesitation.

You see when you are very confident about reading (or doing anything for that matter), you read without TRYING!

TRY is a very interesting concept. It is something in the middle, something relative and sort of neither here nor there.

TRY is a pre-emption to success almost the highest form of improbability (or more accurately the unlikeliness of it) that any actuarists can ever imagine.

Remember this famous wisdom of “Never fail for not TRYING” – these must be the most positive sounding combination of some of the most negative words ever. Yet, the presumption is that if you tried how ever many times and you failed ultimately; failure is only an expected consequence.

On the other hand, if you succeed after TRYING, it is like a fluke or some ladies of good luck must have had a hand in it. You don’t win either way if you are always TRYING!

  • TRY gives you a feeling that you don’t have to commit.
  • TRY equals anything less than 100%
  • TRY means that you always have the world of opportunities to do it over again and again.
  • TRY grants you the option of giving up, if you don’t like it!
  • TRY makes you feel that you are not responsible.
  • TRY injects a false sense of control over the target with ZERO motivation or drive.

You must always start with the end in mind. You do not TRY. You do it or you don’t. Shakespeare’s “To be or not to be” is not “To TRY or not to TRY” for a reason!

So, the next time you said “I’ll TRY”, my crystal ball said that you are actually doomed for failure (sadly). Because, even if you succeed in whatever you tried, it is always something beyond you and not you alone! It just spoils the Party!

Guess what, you won’t even said “I’ll TRY” if you are confident!

Remember Napoleon Bonaparte famous saying of “Impossible is a word to be found in the dictionary of fools”. Unless you are rugby fans who found great use of the word “TRY”, may be it’s about time to let TRY to join the rank of Impossible! You are immediately empowered with one word less in you vocabulary!

I did not TRY to start a practice 6th years ago; I built my practice 6th year ago and still constantly upgrading it.

Happy 6th Birthday, Chur Associates!
