Once we set our sight to be “Out of this World”, the Moon has always been our most obvious target!
President Kennedy once said that the Moon was chosen because it's HARD and befitting of a real challenge to the ultimate American dream. We are inspired in the same way and made the Moon the first of many challenges to testify the greatness of CAtizen!
As we have finally landed and set our foot prints on the Moon, I have nothing but great admiration to the “CA”lture that each and every one of you has manifested with pride throughout this journey.
First and foremost, you have exemplified the fact that Chur Associates® is a TEAM. There is no super hero and everyone is a leader in what each and every one of us does best. Setting aside the personal differences, we trust each other in our delivery of any promises given with the best interest of CA at heart. In many ways, you have acted like a family. Once you are a CAtizen, we trust each other completely. Family simply means that we don’t choose each other but love each other unconditionally no matter what happened. Trust is the foundation of what CA is all about.
One of the DNA for our function as a team is the TRANSPARENT operation within CA. Being brutally honest and direct are our ways of stamping out any internal groupings and favouritism. Being transparent also assists us with better communication and empowered switching of roles without much hassle. Externally, the same principle has also allowed all our stakeholders to be properly educated on what’s happening that in turn permits ownership of the issues and the firm as well as an efficient client’s expectation management.
Your positive attitude in HARDLY TAKE NO AS AN ANSWER is now part of the CA brand-marks. We understand that “NO” is most often abused and use in convenience. You have always used a little extra thoughtfulness in dealing with the “NO” and keep asking for a different answer that led you closer to your objective. By the same token, we also hardly give “NO” as an answer as we believe no is never an answer.
You have also illustrated in the journey that you are also APPROACHABLE as we are essentially dealing with humans that requires a lot of compassions and sensibilities. At the end of any issues, there is always another person. Keep the door open and believe that the best of human nature shall always prevail. You have created an environment in CA that encourages nothing but only possibilities.
Most importantly, you are ACCOUNTABLE as a team player. You don’t pass the bug around as you are a firm believer that everything stops with ME! Never fail to take on ownership has made all of you more resourceful to think out of the box within what’s possible to you.
The way you “dance” with the issue at hand to achieve a solution feasible to our clients is a testament that it is in the DNA of every CAtizen to be FLEXIBLE and grow bigger than the challenge before you. You are guided by your objective and ready to change yourself to meet the end you so desired.
Taking the ownership of the task before you further, you are PROACTIVE in your conduct. You choose to be a Messiah for every piece of information before you; and not just a mere Messenger that add no value to your clients’ course. You are always just that little observance and a little more thoughtful on your own accord to make that difference that by nature you expect off yourself every single time.
You are also passionately driven as it is in your nature to be SOLUTION CENTERED. You painlessly identify your client’s destination and drive your client to ‘B’! You guide them, you give them options and most importantly, you are there with them!
Learning from Cu Chi Fighters that resemble the essence of the proud Vietnamese that have defeated all the super powers invaders in the World today: we always make the best use of all the resources available couple with our knowledge and wisdom; and seasons it with absolute determination and invincible belief, for VICTORY shall be OURS in time!
Sounds Hard? That's exactly where it starts to become easy, because all you have to do is keep doing it and all the thinking parts have been figured out for you! I am sure you have been through this in some points in your life before... That's RIGHT! You will connect all the dots one day just like what the late Steve Jobs once called for!
Perhaps, that's has always been in JFK's mind as he commissioned for the mission to the Moon.
Forgive, Permit and Believe!
When you identify what you have and appreciate - you FORGIVE; when you learn more from what you have and gain the wisdom to let go - you PERMIT; when you are done with the thinking and start doing - you BELIEVE! The world shall be yours, you are unstoppable! That's RIGHT!
Journey on, CAtizens! We shall be on “Cloud 9” when we celebrate our 9th anniversary in our brand new “Green Haus”.
Trust me, WE are worth it!
